Hypocratic Oath

Got up this morning and hopped a train
And I robbed a bank and I stole a plane
I don't think I'll be thrown in the box though
I gotta friend who owns the stocks
You know what they say it's all about who you know.

I kinda find it a little funny
Taking god off all of our money
It just goes to show
We were born and raised to follow
We learn to hold our tongue
Our inside pride we swallow
I mean, it's nothing personal... just business.

A redshirts walkin' down the line
For a commie, he's doin' pretty fine
He just served his 60 years time
Even used to be a great friend of mine
He used to be... that damn McCarthy era.

You can ride that hollowed train
Shout and scream and suffer from pain
Everyone can do what they wanna do
As long it ain't me or my loved one's too
I'm not as selfish as most people think, all I want for Christmas is world peace... and a million dollars.

For some big bad walls to start a fallin'
Runnin' home cryin' to their moms
Someone's ready to drop 2-ton bombs.
Why don't we just cut down some trees and use the wood to build birds a sanctuary?)

Just the other day a snail passed my way
So I picked him up an threw him in a cage
Told him to choose when he comes of age
Until then, it's where he stays
He's still there to this day!
You see I'm a firm believer in governmented democracy... everybody loves a hypocrite.

Here there's no lines to read between
All these things don't go unseen
And if you're wondering why I wrote this rhyme
It's just to have my own time to shine
