found out it was your birthday time to celebrate your story

A man with no measure
a legend come true
he celebrated pleasure
a friend through and through

the memories I'll always treasur
though short time you I knew
I'm on our adventure
and your spirit's here too

I'm here tired and hungry as I write this thing
and I can't help but think of the smiles you'd bring
all the jokes with our friends and the laughs that we had
Even though we were in rehab times weren't so bad

And remember when you got that campsite at battle row
You'd get drunk and belligerent but it was still funny tho
We'd sit by the campfire and play the guitar
Or how about those times you snuck beers in the bar
you were a wild wacky zany fun dude
