there are faces in my cereal faces on the spoon
faces on this milk carton and faces on the moon

there are faces on the floor and faces on the wall
faces on the prison bars and as I recall

there are faces on this pencil faces up above
some faces stare with anger others look with love

faces in the toilet and faces on the sink
faces staring back at me floating in my drink

there are faces on this table and on the pay phone
hey look there's even faces staring at me from this bone

faces on my matress faces in the tree
faces on this blanket which is now wrapped around me

there are faces on my pants and faces on this bowl
faces that keep me company stare deeply in my soul

there are faces in the paper faces in my hair
faces in everything that surrounds me everywhere
