Some invention
This thing called love
keeps you on my mind
and thinking of
days together
though we're apart
holds me
scolds me
takes away my heart
to a sweet scene
light years away
watching in silence
as you lay
close beside me
it feels so right
a new day waiting
for its morning light
just to mention

a day without your love
just wouldn't do
