If I Believe
That what happens to me
Is being overseen
By he who's ungodly
Should I believe
That I will never see
The end result of my dream
As I hope it will be
Should I change my ways
If I want to see brighter days
Or will his darkness lead me to where I want to go
The answer that I want to know most of all
Is if I try to sell my soul to sin for rock n roll
Will I get what I want out of life, or will reality for me always be
Suffering strife

If I believe
That what happens to me

By he who is godly
Should I believe
That I will surely see
The end result of my dream

Is if I choose to let Jesus save my mortal soul
Will I get what I want out of life,
Or will reality for me continue to be

What will happen to me

Is not what I had hoped it would be?
If I choose to believe
That nothing is the way
Are the chances of me ever seeing brighter days
Zero to nothin'
Will I ever get to where I want to go?

And let nothing take control of my life
