Upright Walk

One day I was walking through the city
with my hat on and my glasses bright and clear
I was drifting down the roads and I was running up all stairs
But I never I will never come again

Cannot say didn't have a good time
But I might say there was something I have missed
Though I drifted down these roads and ran up every single stair
I have never; had I felt so solitaire

In New York, in Chicago, in Beirut and Berlin
People like Hamsters do their job and turn the wheels
Nobody that I could talk to, lot of time to think
Hoping someday I'll reach an end

One day I was walking through the city
hands in pockets and my head up in the sky
I was like the 'odd-one-out' who wandered lonely as a cloud
Hear no other and no other can hear me.

Reminding me of being different
fine arts, you know, I know, who knows?
Do they give us time to think or are they staining us with ink
to make sure that everybody sees
