I been called every name in the book
I think it's about time that we tore it up
Cause I am getting tired of feeling bad
Squandering everything that we could have

I wake up every day cause I wanna work
but if I don't get some am I a jerk?
well makes me just end up feeling sad
about all the free time that we should have

But I won't let it bring me down

I like to browse and I like to look
strumming through the pages of our history
but there's no need to buy into everything
when we could just share at a library

Your gonna have to sacrifice in this world
cause there's not enough of gold or wine or pearls
well it might as well be something that makes real sense
like starving and lying and foolishness
