Shadows On The Walll

So here I am again today
I'm just trying to figure out
Where I belong where I fit in cause
I'm not quite sure where my place is
Every time I get a step further
I always fall down back to the ground.

I'm trying so desperately to
Find my feet again
I really need to pick myself up off the floor
And get a move on.

I try and I try and I try to see past the
Shadows on the wall

Single day
I try and I try and I try to see past the brick
Walls that keep on surrounding me
I try and I try and I try to see past the
Shadows on the wall
But I'm not getting anywhere.

I fall I break I cry I scream out loud for help
But sometimes I can only begin to think that
My cries seem to be going
No higher then the ceiling
Sometimes I scream so loud
I begin to lose my voice then everything seems
So silent.

Every turn every road I go down
Is a dead end
I keep going around and around in a circle
Why do I keep doing this to myself
I don't quite understand.
