Prodigal's Return

I don't want to play any more games
I only want now to praise Your name!
For I've been wandering far too long,
And I'm the only one to blame.
Your Word's been true all along;
And I confess I was wrong.
Please take me back again,
Before my time is gone...
For I am no more worthy To be called Your son;
And I can't pay You back For what You've done.

I've served myself for so long
And I was deaf to Your song;
But You led me, Lord, back home to You
And this is where I belong!
I've been burned by worldly lies,
But You've opened up my eyes
To see me as I truly am
And it's cut me down to size!

And I believe I've seen enough, Lord,
So back to You I run;
And I can't pay You back For what You've done.

(Spoken) And so, when the prodigal son came to himself, he arose, and returned home to his father. But while he was still a great way off, his father saw him coming, and was filled with love and compassion; and he ran to his son and
put his arms around him, and kissed him.
