I'm so tired of trying to be something I'm not;
Just let me lay down, Lord at the foot of Your cross!

I have no works, Lord and I've got no more love
Just let me lay down, Lord in what You have done!

I'm sick with my sin, Lord; it's too great a load;
Just let me lay down, Lord, all washed in Your blood!

I'm weary with searching, my own way to find;
Just let me lay down, Lord, in Your peace of mind!

I'm all out of ways, Lord, my own life to fill;
So just let me lay down, Lord, in Your perfect will!
