I was not getting high, I was wanting to die.
My chest felt so empty, & a few Xanax helped me not feel guilty.
No razor could drain all the pain, I bled back.

but I'd just pop an Oxycotton & let it be forgotten.
I blamed everyone but myself, begged for then denied any help.
Stayin' out all night at raves, Trippin' bad. The bass became the only heartbeat I had.
Come home wasted, just to cry in my closet. at 16 I finally fucking lost it.

Fighting to stay alive, since the day I was 9.
Almost 20 now, & everyday I still consider suicide.
I'm not insane, I was just int too much pain.
Half my teenage years spent in pysch wards, laying in my death bed.
Yet to me, I was still fine, it was all just in my head.
but I learned that happiness is a choice, & comes from within.
No one but yourself can make you happy, so don't depend.
