my mother says that
rain is angels
who are crying
up in heaven
and i believe that

it starts raining

for awhile now

at least forty days
and i've been crying
since the first time
someone i loved
passed away

i'll build an ark
inside my body
in a bottle
and disappear

missing people
that i wish could
still be here
but it won't stop raining
and i can't stop crying
my friends keep dying
