How many seconds have I
Wasted up in my head?
Too many questions with
Clear answers that were never said.
Sinking deeper,
Overcome by the pressure
Of making dreams reality
And holding them together.
This fear of failure
A waste of potential,
And plans without effort
Are inconsequential.
These feet in my shoes
Still have room left to grow.
So I'd better start walking

I cling to the fear

I thought I deserved.
But these steps in my progress
Are beginning to show.
I see light in the distance,
