It’s a habit that is costing France dearly.

More than 70,000 people die in the country each year from tobacco-related illnesses.

The government plans to change cigarette packets. They might soon have no branding and carry large health warnings.

France has often been seen as a paradise for smokers, in part because of the cafe culture. It’s estimated that a quarter of the population smokes.

Đó là một thói quen khiến nước Pháp tốn rất nhiều tiền.

Hơn 70.000 người chết ở nước này mỗi năm từ các căn bệnh do hút thuốc lá.

Chính phủ có kế hoạch thay đổi vỏ bao thuốc. Bao thuốc lá có thể sẽ không in thương hiệu hãng thuốc là mà in những dòng cảnh báo lớn về sức khỏe.
