This road safety system uses lasers to detect potential hazards. If the driver doesn’t brake, the car does.

Now a new Swiss project is looking to take things further by reading drivers’ minds.

Researchers are testing its viability by monitoring brainwaves to see if they can predict the driver’s next move.

The hope is technology could intervene to prevent accidents.

Hệ thống an toàn giao thông này sử dụng tia laser để phát hiện những mối nguy hiểm tiềm tàng. Nếu người tài xế không phanh lại thì xe sẽ phanh.

Nay một dự án mới của Thụy Sĩ đang xem xét tiến xa thêm bằng cách đọc suy nghĩ của các tài xế.

Các nhà nghiên cứu đang thử nghiệm khả năng có thể thực hiện được việc này bằng cách giám sát sóng não để xem nếu họ có thể đoán được hành động kế tiếp của tài xế.
