Winter Has Come

Walking through the streets
Trees are bare
The autumn wind
Lightly blows my hair

Afternoon at three
Schools out
Childrens voices ring
People rush about

And now its time to go inside
To cuddle up and drink more wine
The memories of days we left behind
Oh, how I miss you

The evening comes when colors paint the sky
And I know the reason why
I am alone
Winter has come

Staring through the glass
Teardrops fall
And darkness overcomes
Nothing left at all
Except those memories
To comfort me
