October is falling,
Paints the leaves with her colors
The pine scented wind, rose splashed cheeks
The rings of fresh breath on cool air
The orange gibbous moon
Casts light on cow huddled pastures
The glisten of frost on old stalks
The crispness of air fills each breath
The smell of the first falling snowfall
I wish on the first evening star
As I dance in a moonbeam
searching to find the Big Dipper
Find a direction. whispering secrets
