I went back today, to the places I used to go, faces I used to know. I never thought id miss this old town when we were stupid kids, living our lives in bliss.

Smokin cheap cigars, house parties and breakin hearts. Strummin that old guitar. I hear my father say, son dont wish you time away. Ill never forget that day

Do you remember staying out at the lake, wed drink to much, stay up to late, had so much to learn, weekend warriors. It was our turn to find out who we were.

I saw your photograph, I tried to look but I cant look back, leavin you in the past and I dont regret living our lives half to death, youre the one Ill never forget

There aint no going back weve said our goodbyes we went separate ways to live our own separate lives but I just cant denie that from time to time what it would be like to live it one more time.

I will never forget all the laughs and the tears leaving this old town and over coming our fears we made so many mistakes, so many bridges burned but it will never change who we were.
