View From Above

Feels like I'm runnin in circles inside my mind.
Somethin is driving me deeply to keep all this time.
So many places to linger, but I forge ahead.
One road behind me leads to comfort and safety.
One road ahead could be my very best friend.

But the view from above is hard to believe
when you're driving uphill on a one way street.
It's a drag to keep movin
when only assumin the view from above,
the view from above.

Showing severe dehydration, my body's fried.
Thought I was on a vacation, not in a fight.
I know my charted direction and I walk straight
off of the path I know I ought to be walkin.
Until I get there I'll be keepin the Faith.
