a man unknown on a of untold grand,
his cape by thirty runes of gold
of whom the tales since ages told...

...The man arrived at the of sea
and onto the nightly sky,

two ravens dark as night by...

...In a distance far the sounds
and lightnings the frozen grounds,
his breath ran fast, his heart strong
as the day now came, oh so long...

...Tears will fall and blood will soon be
when the dawn the twilight of the day...
Then into battle they will ride with swords in hand
for a foray...

...Countless miles he through ice and knee-deep snow
over mountains 'till the landscape its face
so he at last arrived where winds blew and chill
like a welcome to all who trod this place...

...He in cape was wrapped, and with his 'round his neck
he his way though he didn't saw the path,
but he did not rest, 'till he had crossed land of chill
and the storm had calmed, when he stood on hill...

...His eyes see the forest shining bright
and its trees reflected golden light,
the sound of horns then his ears
to welcome him and away his fears...

...from all their lands the kings, came
with their retinue of men,
and the maiden in full armour sat on horses,
winged, the right began...

So he a while and recovered from his ride,
the gleamed by the mighty northers light,
and the elder ones sang tales the past,
of ancestors pride, that will forever last...

...As the darkness fell and was solens light
the silence amongst the men of heathenpride,
who now gathered in a mighty
and awaited Gods to give the final sign...
