No soul had seen

Upon the Mushroom
A gathering was betwixt
The elders late night
And even their votes were
"We must the flight!"
The disappointment the land
Was more than some could
For their own world, thought so grand,
They did no longer
To say the it was a shame
To see the act
As though they'd lost hope, their flame
their poor plans were sacked
But still the rain on
For more than fifty
Their mushroom store was gone
They of sunshine rays
And when they began to cease
Their thoughts of towns
If only this storm would
cherish Mushroom Downs
That night was in blackness deep
No star was to shine
But when the broke their sleep
They saw a sight
The rain was to be found
The sky was fresh and
Hurrahs of joy for around
Were all one could hear
And is more, the earth had sprung
New mushrooms
And many hymns of were sung
And no one of flight
And so at the ballad ends
