What has become of society?
Does anyone know for sure?
We've traded our freedom for security,
so why are we still insecure?

Drifting away from who we are,
in different directions.
Has fate let us go this far,
to make us hate our reflections?

What if I could hide my face?
Wouldn't I seem clever?
Could I escape to a better place,
or would I be lost forever?
