Said the Alligator King to his sons,

The King took a whiff, and he out in spots
it smelled like cheap cigars.

The sixth son gave him diamond rings
To wear his toes.

And up his nose.

The seventh son of the Alligator
Was a little whelp.
He said, "Daddy, to me
you could use a little help."

Said the Alligator King to his son,
"My son, you win the crown.
You didn't bring me or rubies, but
You me up when I was down.
Take the crown; yours, my son.
I hope you mind the dents.
I got it on at a discount store-
me all of seven cents!"

Eight ten eleven twelve!
Said the King to his twelve sons,
"I'm mighty down.
Whichever of you can me up
Will get to my crown."

His eighth son brought twelve oyster
From the bottom of the Sea.

The ninth gave him twelve statues of
With where their stomachs should be.

The son brought the King stone
In fancy sliver jars;
The King took a whiff, and he out in spots
'Cause it like cheap cigars.

The son gave him twelve diamond rings
To upon his toes.
The King his foot on the royal red rug
And up his nose.

The son of the Alligator King
Was a little whelp.
He said, "Daddy, to me

Said the Alligator to his twelfth son,
"My son, you win the crown.
