Psalm 14

The fool says in his heart, "There is no God".
They and their deeds are vile, and there is
no-one who does good,
The Lord looks down from heaven on the sons
of men
To see if any understand, or any who seek God.
But all have turned aside, they have become
corrupt,
And there is no-one who does good, no, not even
one.
Will evil doers never learn those who devour
my people,
And those who will not call on the name of the
Lord?
See them, there they are so overwhelmed with
dread,
But God is present with the righteous man
You evil doers, frustrating all the plans of the poor,
But the Lord will keep them safe from you.
Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion!
When the Lord restores the fortunes of his people,
Let Jacob sing for joy and Israel be glad
