Praying For Change (just Another Day)

It's 6am, daybreak again, breathe out, breathe in, outside the world's just
waking
I close my eyes count down from 5, to my surprise I find my heart's still
beating
Time goes by, time goes by and I'm waiting to be saved
Looking in the mirror now, praying for a change

And I know, it's just another day
But I don't think I can make it, it's getting harder just to fake it
Here I go, through another day
Is there anybody out there, can you help me find a way

I walk in time, I tow the line, I show no signs, don't give away my symptoms
I pray at night, I scream inside, turn out the light, wake up and start all
over
Time goes by, time goes by and I'm waiting to be saved
Looking in the mirror now but nothing's changed

I don't expect to change the world, don't believe that I'm the only one who's
been there
And at the end of everyday there's a million voices crying out to be heard
