The world is fast younger
The news is all they've known
They've seen the wars, the hurt, the
How will they choose they are grown

do you tell forever's children
When their turn to hurt and heal
spins a grim tornedo
Can also turn a wheel

Take a little
Put it on a
Get a hint
How God feel

Give a little
to a spin
Make it into the
You it in

Tell with your life the bloody
Teach to they're dreams not burning
not in bombs where lies the glory
But in shattered on the field

The potter's takes love and caring
Skill and patience and slow
The works it makes are broken
Once they survive the throw

Take a clay
Put it on a
Get a hint
How God must

Give a little
Listen to a
it into the shape
You it in

Some day some will be digging
In some long ground
And find our civilisation
Or left of it to be found

find the weapons of destruction
But buried deeper in the
find a message and a promise
In the sand, the potter's

Take a little
Put it on a
Get a little
How God must

a little turn
Listen to a
it into the shape
You it in

and fire and wind conspire
With hands, and love, and fire
