The world is fast becoming
The news is all ever known
They've the wars, the hurt, the hunger
How will they when they are grown

do you tell forever's children
When it's turn to hurt and heal
spins a grim tornedo
Can also turn a potters

Take a little
Put it on a
Get a hint
How God feel

Give a turn
Listen to a
Make it into the
You it in

Tell with life the bloody story
Teach to they're not burning steel
It's not in where lies the glory
But in what's on the field

The potter's wheel love and caring
Skill and fast and slow
The it makes are easily broken
they survive the potter's throw

Take a little
Put it on a
Get a hint
How God must

Give a little
to a spin
Make it into the
You it in

Some day some children will be
In some long forgotten
And they'll find our
Or what's left of it to be

They'll find the weapons of
But buried in the hole
They'll a message and a promise
In the sand, the bowl

Take a clay
Put it on a
Get a hint
How God feel

Give a turn
Listen to a
it into the shape
You it in

Earth and fire and conspire
human hands, and love, and fire
