A circumstance of chance
New steps in every dance
In place of a romance
A sidelong secret glance

Her thunder shakes me to my core
Her lightening pierces, storms roar
Her oceans pound against my soul

Drifts away with a kiss she stole
On waters black as ink
Still her love's the wreckage
That won't let me sink

Would I choose to stay
Beneath skies of iron gray

To be tossed in her tides

She can see the key
