... then, a kind of human being its appearance...:

Dwellers!!!..."

Little by little an enormous creature appeared... at first a tentacle, then - half a dozen!
An head showed dimly...:

Horror!...ghastly travesty
Neckless body... of jelly flesh!

"I realised the thing had a perception
for it saw me from the beginning, fixed its
me and began to move rapidly towards me
through the darkening landscape... paralysis...
was this the illusion...?"
