In the meanwhile, bats came out of the mouth
... then, a kind of human being its appearance...:

showing through its skin..
Dwellers!!!..."

Little by little an enormous creature appeared... at first a tentacle, another - half a dozen!
An eldritch showed dimly...:

Horror!...ghastly head
Neckless body... mass of flesh!

Horror!...ghastly travesty
Neckless body... mass of flesh!

"I realised the had a great perception
for it saw me from the beginning, its eyes
upon me and to move rapidly towards me
through the landscape... total paralysis...
was the ultimate illusion...?"
