Our roots

When I sit down on the road
I see people walk alone
They seem to have no smile for me
And I feel no home

When I'm lost in all my troubles
And there is no way to come out
I remember when the world
Was right, my home
(was all my own)

Children, oh..children come dance with me
Teach me the truth, so I'll still believe

We've got to find our roots...

Sometimes we escape from certain problems
Thinking they are not our problems
So we'll never have the life
We need for our sons...I say

When the oil's worth more than life
A million tears won't make me blind
