well im trying to find a better way
well im trying to find a way to explain but i
cant explain why
ive been feeling nothing

and lately my head's been
quite a mess and my exsistence seems
rather pointless but i know if i
give it a chance it'll be fine

still everything is disappointing
and life's lessons all take too long
and im defensive and senseless
all the rest is numb

well im trying to get my (self) ass outta bed
but its so hard when theres no sunshine overhead
because ive been living in a basement
with green carpet guess thats what i get
