Mannequin of All That I Embrace

A dark veil of respite covers your face;
Tears seep through your hands of evil,
Shadows enclose across your celestial eyes,
The nemesis of blinding light,
Cast by perplex outcasts of witchcraft.
A condition of day fading into night,
Devastation of a dubious kind,
Deception burns the decay,

From a tapestry telling a story of woe
A sacramental disgrace, a talisman of disorder,
Held high by a hero of injustice,
A dark order of annihilation, dwarfed by fear,
And knights of the darkness suffer for us,
To protect us from the inevitable doom of night,
And thoughts of sin creep through my mind,
Screams of horror break the silence of the vile excuse,

That clouds the minds of all deemed wise and powerful,
Until they are little more then the pitiful harlequin of cowardice
Hide in the shadows until you are protected by the light,
With sunrise brings more false hope,
And is believed and beloved by all through equivocation,

And falsehood spoken by an Angel,
Who brandishes a halo long gone rusty,
And wields a tyrannical commanding voice.
Whilst a purge of all sinister blame,
That falls upon the shoulder of the innocent,
And suffer at the hands of unjust predominance
A divine excuse for a devil to live,
