Lighthouse

We've been out on the waves drinking for days
We lost sight of land a week ago
How we'll ever get home I guess we'll never know
'Cause we ain't got no radio

Some men say we'll never see our homes again
So we're sending out prayers to the skies

The Lighthouse calls our names
Out in the middle of night
Now we are safe
Though the storms have come
On these raging seas

So we set our bearings North and head toward the shore
We've got a flame glowing in our eyes
From a tower on the hills - piercing through the night
Our hearts are lifted in the midst of its sight

Some men say the stars have watched over us
But the skies are blacker than coal
