Life Makes More Sense When You Don't Get What You Want

I often fail to understand
What's going on between the lines
I sometimes fail to discern certain elements that bite
But I can always fail and frown
I can always fall and drown
in my choices that abound in mouldy cakes

When I fail to understand
how to approach matters with tact
If I knew how to predict
situations and outcomes
and if I can get often distraught
I can sometimes become amused
there's nothing really so much fun
like failing in a thousand ways
