Did you know that Life is a gambling man?
He loves blackjack and the occasional poker hand.
And he was dating Love, she's a beautiful and hard working gal.
And Death was her brother, and like any other he told him on his first date.
"You better look after her, or I'll take her away"

And Life said,
"Do you think I am a fool? I've got everything anyone could wish for. No.
Love made me a better man,
so her heart is safe, I'll make an honest wage and I'll never gable again."

Ohh hooo

Now Greed, is an old friend of Life's.
Said, "How you doing? It's been a long time!"
"I heard you were living the straight and narrow, Life with Love.
Let's celebrate at Gluttony's pub tonight.
And while we are there I'll give you a dare underneath the crimson lights.
Let's gamble for Love's affection and give Luck his try."

But Life said,
"Do I look like a fool? I've got everything anyone could wish for. No.
Love has made me a better man,
so her heart is safe, I'll make an honest wage and I'll never gable again."

But Greed had a trick up his sleeve. He said,
"Life you can't give Love everything she wants and needs.
But pick up a lucky hand and you'll see,
I'll give you money and power so you could by her everything.
Come on Life? You were always a lucky guy."

So Life tried his hand, but greed pulled a faster one.
And he lost the one thing that made him complete.
And Death then appeared, and said,
"You are a foolish man!"
As Greed slowly and softly disappeared.

And Death screamed,
"You are such a fool! You had everything anyone could wish for. No.
And you said Love made you a better man,
but you threw it all away, been led astray and now you'll never be an honest man!"
