Little boy: (coming in) When making mud pies
And you home covered with dirt

Man: you look like you live in a pig pen
And you don't even why

All: (joined by a young lady, an lady, and a lady with glasses)
When you like guck from your head to your toes
Who knows what to do with those clothes
do the Wash!

Glasses Lady: It makes your so clean

All: do the Wash!

boy: Just put 'em in the washing machine!

All: I to hear that soap and water slosh

Boy: So come on,

All: do the Wash!

(All their heads round and round, imitating the action of the washing machine)

Young When you're skippin' rope
And the rope trips over shoe

Glasses When you've got an ice cream cone
And it and it sticks like glue

And it gets on you

Man: put 'em in the washing machine

I love to hear that soap and water slosh

Older lady: So on, baby

All: do the Wash!

(head swinging again)

Ooooooooooooo!

Glasses Lady: It makes your clothes so

All: do the Wash!

Little Boy: Just put 'em in the machine

I love to hear that soap and water slosh

Boy: So come on,

All: do the Wash!
Do the Wash!
