Once standin' here cryin out
Energy gone my dyin' out
Wishin' you was dead or somewhere out
Every time you ya mouth lies flyin' out
Remember we first met you wit' ya crew
Me my girls doin' what we usually do
You wit' ya comin' at me askin' my name
Knew it was first sight you said it the same
Talked on the phone the whole night vibe so right
Every step to love the future so bright
Till this girl in my class me she was pregnant
And you was the dad
How she wasn't jealous of me or I had
How you cheated on her several and treated her bad
And as she was me that my whole world collapsed
like a fool still in love wit' you

(2x):]
Mommy always told me life Life never plays to be nice
all in my life
Love is what destroyed my life,

What you gon' play now
Nothin' you could say 'cause is clear now
I can see I made my mistakes
home a good girlfriend gimmie a break
I'd be home alone you catchin' the shakes
Every till you call back adrealine raced
Left me hangin' on my birthday when I at ya place
You home the next morning
I just stared in ya
Knew where you was actin' dumb it tore me
Took it out on your things put the key to car
Felt like you had a knife all this in my heart
Deep down though still wishin' we restart
For a I was on top swore I had the cream
Rude awakeing nothin' come to but a dream
sinkin' in never really loved me and it seemed
What was I thinking I was only in my

(2x):]
Mommy always told me 'bout life never plays to be nice
all in my life
Love is destroyed my life, life

Nowadays I see you I don't feel bad
Got a real love in my life you be a dad
For once in ya life try doin' right
By now you should be ready to slow it
you know what go 'round come back 'round
Even though it hurt to let you go I had to
A demon in you was tryna take my soul
make a move you was tryna take control
In a way I only balme myself naive
I made the choice to be you and no one else indeed
A picture in a broken upon the shelf indeed
Had to take a lil' to know myself
now and then and then I start to reminisce wantin' ya kiss
Even though I it's dangerous
now and then I start to reminisce
For real even though I know it's so

(4x):]
Mommy told me 'bout life Life never plays to be nice
Tragedy's all in my
Love is what destroyed my life,

What a chick do to get some love?
What I do to say enough is enough?

What's the point of wit somebody, that only bring ya down
Goin and 'round

(till end):]
Mommy always told me life Life never plays to be nice
all in my life
Love is what my life, life
