Sit eager and waiting, to be set free from this slave thing
Believers are fading, it seems their dreams are coming apart hard at the seems and deflating
Not mine I stay focused

For fame chasers the game is hopeless,
Lame and bogus blokes can't face ferocious ... Conditions and odds,
The inefficient mob are not sufficient for the listening squad
They'd make good golfers, constantly below par

Now that's Asian, Black and White lies
Even if you were dressing me you couldn't pull the wool over my eyes
Watch the temperature gauge, set to raise a couple of centigrade
While all the rest are trying to acclimatise
They say I'm psyched live,
And when I write the results are colourful patterns like the page has been tie dyed
See my name up in lights in the night sky, doesn't apply to me
You have to be dry to be idolised
But that's by the by,
I'm more concerned with spreading love through soul music and taking care of my firefly
Imagination is all I'm needing to give me wings
Limiting the negative, take me to the required high
