Well, I didn't even cry that day
Yeah, I just walked out straight
and I said, "Well, okay."
I've got a big, ole' story in me and it's more
than just a bunch of shit that you had to say.

was I hoping just to get in my car and get on the freeway.
But Google Maps still knew I was red, and not okay.
So I just sat in my car and let it all out.
And I pretended to text you what I wanted to say.

But I thought I'd write this song instead,

Than calling you and texting you
like I was a high schooler.

But I guess it's not cool, anyway.
To lose your love, to go astray.
And I guess it's not cool to go away.
I guess it's pretty bad to not be okay.

So I got in my car and I got it started
and just I said, "Well, what about that?"
I said, "Well, I ain't gonna follow no 'Google Maps'!
I'm just gonna try to find the street that I lived on!"

Try to find where I live.
I don't care about no helicopters.
Or what you're gonna think about this.
Me pulling away, me slamming my door.
And me leaving in my car for, like, 20 minutes.
before I even left your house that day.

I don't care what you're gonna say,
or what kinda story you're gonna make.
I just know that I'm, I'm gonna be okay
with all of it.

I just said that I don't even care if I'm gonna be okay
with the story that you tried to make out of me.
And I don't care if you had a lot to say,
or you're just a picture that makes me wanna look away.

I'm just here trying to be my own queen.
I guess the "King" thing didn't work out for me.
So I'm putting the crown away.
