Funny Little Man

See the funny little man
Huffing and puffing and digging the sand
In his search for something to build
Perhaps a church on the side of a hill

Little does he know
That he's working in vain
When rain comes the hill
Will come sliding down and will not hold.

See the funny little man
Running and hiding and flailing his hands
Asking himself what could have gone wrong
For he has worked hard the whole day long

See the funny little man
Small in his size when compared to the land
When will he grow up, can time wait until
The funny little man can see beyond the hill
