Luyện nghe bài hát Famine

Okay, I want to about Ireland
I want to talk about the 'Famine'
About the fact there never really was one
There was no

See Irish people were only to eat potatoes
All of the food, meat, fish, vegetables
Were shipped out of the country under guard
To England while the people starved

And then on the of all this
gave us money not to teach our children Irish
And so we lost our
And this is what I think is hurting me

See, we're like a child that's battered
Has to drive out of it's head because it's frightened
feels all the painful feelings
But lose contact with the memory

And this leads to massive
Alcoholism, drug
All desperate at running
And in it's worst becomes actual killing

And if there is gonna be healing
There has to be remembering and grieving
So that there can be forgiving
There has to be knowledge and

All the people
Where do they all from?

An army regulation
Says you kill more than ten percent of a nation
to do so causes permanent 'psychological damage'
It's not permanent but didn't know that

Anyway, the supposed 'Famine
We lost a lot more than ten of our nation
deaths on land or on ships of emigration
But what finally broke us was not
But it's use in the of our education

School go on about '47'
On and on about 'The Terrible
But they don't say is in truth
really never was one

(Excuse me)
All the lonely
(I'm sorry, me)
do they all come from

(That I can you in one word)
All the lonely
Where do all belong?

So let's a look, shall we?
The highest of child abuse in the EEC
And we say we're a country
But lost contact with our history

See we to worship God as a mother
suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
Look at all our old men in the
Look at all our young people on

We used to God as a mother
Now look at what doing to each other
We've even killers of ourselves
The most child-like people in the Universe

And is what's wrong with us
Our history books the parent figures to us
I see the as a race like a child
That got bashed in the face

And if ever is gonna be healing
There has to be remembering and grieving
So that there, then can be
There has to be knowledge and

All the lonely
Where do all come from
All the lonely
Where do they all come

We stand on the of a great achievement
In this there is no solution to be found
To our disagreements by each other
There is no real here

We are all Irish in all our different of ways
We must not, now or ever in the
anything to each other
Except tolerance, forbearance and neighborly

of our tradition
Everyone knows how he is
And what God him to do
