Every lie salts the wound a little further
Even though I know you're trying to help

Late one night a dream awoke me
When I thought I'd already gone
A small light caught my eye at the bottom of the hill
And something told me that I'm not quite done
That small light that kept me going
Eight some-odd years ago today
All that's left for me to do at this point in time
