Mama "Supper time,
And make me tell you twice
Wash your hands and wipe face.
The table's no place for toys,
And try to use inside voice,
dig in 'til we say Grace."
So we put down our and bowed our heads
And she prayed the strangest prayer ever said:

"I wanna You Lord,
For children and slamming doors,
And clothes all over the floor,
My husband all the time,
Draggin' in tired at night,
My never messy kitchen
And dishes."

We all got real and quiet,
And asked "Honey, you alright?"
She said, "Dear, ain't wrong,
Noisy kids are kids,
And doors just means we live,
In a warm and home,
Your hours and those dishes in the sink,
Means a job and to eat.

So I'm thank You Lord,
For noisy children and doors,
And scattered all over the floor,
My husband all the time,
in dead tired at night,
My never ending kitchen

For my busy bees
mama, mama can you please?
Always wantin' me to call name
of laundry pilin' up
Crayons crushed the floor
And those sticky kisses
And dishes,
And dishes...
