Luyện nghe bài hát Cisco Clifton's Fillin' Station

Cisco Clifton had a station
About a mile and a half from
Most cars passed unless were out of gas
So was always around

Regular gas was all it sold
tobacco matches and oil
Other than that he fixed lots of
Keepin' Cisco hands soiled

He'd wipe the gas and the air
In a times a day
He patiently directions
On how to get to the highway

Usually he'd 'em water
Or a or two some air
And a big black Cadillac
Spent seven dollars

give anybody anything they'd ask
And lend he had
His tools are tyres jacks or wire
To the good or the bad

In there was a depot stove
And a for a checker game
And every mornin' at
The same checker players

So Cisco Clifton's station
Was in the red
Personal loans personally gone
But never a word was

One mornin' at eight, them checker
Heard a big bulldozer like a freight
And said I hope my kids stay fed
When build that Interstate

He'd managed to pay for
Where his fillin' station sat
And friends still for checker game
So Cisco for that

He say so but Cisco knew
the Interstate was too much to fight
But to his will and to pay his bills
He did odd jobs at

He still opened up at
And the checker went on
The cars flew past on gas
And the neighbors had sold out and

If a car did go by he was lost
And if they stopped were treated the same
So at Clifton's fillin' station
There's a howdy and a checker
