Luyện nghe bài hát Cisco Clifton's Fillin' Station

Cisco Clifton had a fillin'
About a mile and a half from
Most cars passed unless they out of gas
So was always around

Regular gas was all that it
Except matches and oil
Other than that he fixed lots of
Keepin' Cisco rough soiled

He'd the gas and check the air
In a hundred a day
He gave directions
On how to get to the state

he'd give 'em water
Or a tyre or two air
And a big black Cadillac
Spent seven there

He'd give anybody anything ask
And anything he had
His tools are bumper jacks or wire
To the good or the bad

In there was a depot stove
And a table for a game
And mornin' at sunup
The same checker players

So Cisco fillin' station
Was in the red
Personal loans personally gone
But a word was said

One mornin' at eight, them checker
Heard a big bulldozer like a freight
And said I hope my kids stay fed
When they build Interstate

He'd to pay for property
Where his fillin' station sat
And friends came for checker game
So Cisco settled for

He say so but Cisco knew
That the was too much to fight
But to his will and to pay his bills
He did odd jobs at

He still up at sunrise
And the game went on
The cars past on highest gas
And the neighbors had out and gone

If a car ever did go by he was
And if they stopped they were the same
So at Clifton's fillin' station
a howdy and a checker game
