to rob a man who was a D.T. undercover,
The cop grabbed his arm, he acting erratic,
He said "Keep still, boy, no for static",
Punched him in his belly and he him a slap,
But little did he the lil' boy was strapped,
The kid pulled out a gun, he "Why did ya hit me ?",
The barrel was set straight for the kidney,
The cop got scared, the kid, he to figure,
"I'll do years if I this trigga",
So he dashed and ran around the block,
Cop radioes it to lady cop,
He ran by a tree, he saw this sista,
A shot for the head, he shot but he missed her,
around good and from expectations,
So he he'd head for the subway stations,
But she was coming and he a left,
He was runnin' top speed he was outta breath,
Knocked an old man and swore he killed him,
Then he his move to an abandoned building,
Ran up the up to the top floor,
up the door there, guess who he saw?,
Dave the dope fiend dope,
Who know the meaning of water nor soap,
He "I need bullets, hurry up, run!"
The dope fiend brought a spanking shotgun,
He outside but there was cops all over,
Then he dipped a car, a stolen Nova (?),
Raced up the doing 83,
Crashed a tree near university,
Escaped though the car was battered,
Rat-a-tat-tatted and all the scattered,
Ran out of and still had static,
Grabbed a pregnant and out the automatic,
Pointed at her head and he the gun was full o' lead,
He the cops "Back off or honey here's dead",
Deep in his he knew he was wrong,
So he let the lady go and he to run on,
sounded, he seemed astounded,
Before long the boy got surrounded,
He the gun, so went the glory,
And is the way I have end this story,
He was only seventeen, in a dream,
The shot the kid, I still hear him scream,
ain't funny so don't ya dare laugh,
Just another case the wrong path,
Straight 'n narrow or yo' gets cast(?).
