The green flag from shore to shore!
At Vinegar Hill, the pleasant Slaney,
Our heroes vainly stood to back,
And the Yeos at took Father Murphy
And his body upon the rack.
God grant you glory, brave Murphy,
And open Heaven to all men;
The cause that called you may tomorrow
In fight for the green again.
