The green flag floated from to shore!
At Vinegar Hill, the pleasant Slaney,
Our heroes vainly stood to back,
And the Yeos at took Father Murphy
And his body upon the rack.
God grant you glory, Father Murphy,
And Heaven to all your men;
The that called you may call tomorrow
In fight for the green again.
