Bottle Rocket

Everybody thinks they will have a time to shine
but everybodys life gets a little weird sometimes
so open your eyes, say your goodbyes, watch all the lies disappear

cause tonight Ive got a bottle rocket
pointed at the stars and at last I got it right
now the skies are clear
its going up and out of site
fire and a fuse to start it
burning to the black and tonight Im sending
all of the pain, all of the fear into the atmosphere

everybody knows feeling like its all gone wrong
but everything must go when everything thats good is gone
and all the missteps on the mend
take the mistakes, call them in
till the night is falling , hear the countdown and its on

now the skies are clear, its going out of here
cause really I dont care exactly what went wrong
